An ideal spot to get away from busyness.

From arrival to departure the staff made the stay enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We asked for fruit, they provided it. We needed some pain killers - they went to the chemist on our behalf. The owner, Mr Kurion, did everything possible to make the week's holiday a memorable occasion. A house boat trip and meal on board is worth doing. We wanted to relax without too much in the way of trips and sight seeing and this spot is ideal for that. It is not the place to go for night life and entertainment, but we did not want that and they do not advertise that. The swimming pool was empty which was a shame and the laundry service could be improved, but these negatives should not deter anyone who is looking for a quiet spot with a guarantee of good food and service with a smile. They even provided make shift rods and bait for fishing from the premises - caught two fish and they cooked them for dinner. They cooked lobster and crab that we bought while on the house boat trip. The WiFi worked well. The TV channels were extensive. First time in nine years we have ever been able to watch Roland Garros (French tennis tournament) live. We would go again. It is definitely value for money.

Lovely peaceful spot

I think this is my favourite place I have stayed in India. The terrace overlooking a leafy canal with many birds is so peaceful, I could have sat there for days! It is even nicer than the photos on here show. Great to just sit there and eat or use wifi... Just outside my room which was also good quality. Kurian was very helpful also with info for boat trips, other things to do and transport to the next destination. Highly recommend, thanks :)
